I have an interview tomorrow at a car dealership. I'd never considered a sales career of any kind let alone auto sales. I left my resume at this dealership about 6 months ago after reading their newspaper ad for clerical help. Upon arriving at the dealership I went into the showroom where I stood for several minutes without seeing anyone. So I placed my resume on the nearest desk and left. About a month ago I started a job that I hate and I've been praying to find something else. Today, out of the blue, I get a call from this dealership inviting me to come interview for a sales position. My first reaction was a slight giggle but after thinking about it for a bit I agreed to meet with him to see what he has to say. We'll see where it goes. I am female by the way and quite frankly, the idea of working on comission scares me. But If I do end up selling cars I think I will find your sight helpful.
